COVID-19 Information and Resources

Baltimore City Health Department offers an overview of COVID-19 and the latest Baltimore City Health Order for Baltimore City. 

CITY SERVICES

Baltimore City Department of Public Works website is a great resource with information residents may find useful.  For more specific non-emergency issues, 311 Services will assist you with the submission, status, and resolution time of your request.  You can also download the app on your iPhone and Android or simply call 311 to report your issues. 

Trash

Collection is made every Thursday.  Trash cans should be put out before 7:00 am.

 

Recycling

Collection is made every Tuesday.   All recyclable materials—bottles, cans, plastics (#s 1–7), mixed paper, and cardboard—should be set out in a single container and should be placed in the same location as your trash.

 

If Tuesday or Thursday is a city holiday, the collection will be the following Saturday.

 

e-CYCLING

Baltimore DPW offers free year-round recycling of consumer electronics such as DVD players, VCRs, computers and monitors, radios, and speakers. Electronics can be dropped off at any of the following locations and times:

Quarantine Road Sanitary Landfill, 6100 Quarantine Rd. — Monday–Saturday 9:00 am–5:00 pm

Northwest Transfer Station, 5030 Reisterstown Rd. — Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:00 pm

Western Sanitation Yard, 701 Reedbird Ave. — Monday–Saturday 9:00 am–5:00 pm

Eastern Sanitation Yard, 6101 Bowleys Ln. — Monday–Saturday 9:00 am–5:00 pm

Northwest Sanitation Yard, 2840 Sisson St. — Monday–Saturday 9:00 am–5:00 pm

Street Sweeping

Central District is swept on a weekly basis. Parking restriction signs should be followed within this district.
 

TRANSPORTATION

MTA Bus Schedule
Want to leave your car at home? The city's bus network can get you there, connecting you to other neighborhoods and transportation services such as Light Rail stops, Penn Station, and the Water Taxi.

 

Charm City Circulator
This free bus option operates on several highly-trafficked routes throughout the city.

 

Maryland EZ Pass
Make your commute through the tunnels, or even up and down the I-95 corridor.
